Is there a way when exporting a report to Excel to include the data in the subreport.

Specifically I have a report which shows a list of
Clients and I use a sub report to bring back all the salesman linked to that Client (1 to many) but show it in one line, as follows

The square brackets contain the subreport

Client1 blah blah [Salesman1 Salesman2 Salesman3]
Client2 blah blah [Salesman1 Salesman43]

There could be any number of salesman against a Client even zero.

Any ideas ?

Dave

When I use Crystal's inherent export feature, my subreport data is included. Are you using Crystal Reports main application or the report designer component, or what? Are you doing the export through code or do you use the export button on the report window?

Thanks,
Lori

Doh! I have found it does work but only if you export as Excel 5,7 or 8 normal NOT extended !

It also kinda ignores any formatting ie I had all the initials in a line likes AAA BBB CCC DDD and it comes across to Excel like this
AAA
BBB
CCC
DDD

But at least it comes across, thanks for your help!
