Is it possible to export (and import later) ALL Act! info including history and notes?

I need to clean up a database with a lot of duplicated and incorrect info and the easiest way would be to export it to csv files and then write some cleanup programs to get rid of what I do not need, and then import it back in - hopefully without losing anything in the process.

We have current version I think but will certainly upgrade if we need to.

You will lose notes and history by exporting to CSV. I would suggest looking at some of the add-on tools that are designed to help with data clean up within the program. Check out for a list of providers. In my experience Oakhurst tools have some of the best experience behind them, although there are several others that come highly recommended from other sources.
