Exporting Group tree results of Crystal report

Crystal product version:11.0,License:Full
Business objects XI Release 2

We are trying to EXPORT data displayed in (Group tree) of Crystal Reports (Business objects XI Release2) to EXCEL for our validation(testing)

Issue that we are facing is we couldn't export DATA DISPLAYED IN GROUP TREE of Crystal Reports"

On Exporting the Crystal report results, only data displayed within Crystal report is getting exported but not the Group tree data.

We would need data displayed in GROUP TREE for further validation

Please suggest a way out of this and appreciate your inputs

There is no way to export the group tree itself - that is a visual that is only available in the Crystal Viewer.

A computer only does what you actually told it to do - not what you thought you told it to do.

Dell is correct, but you could suppress all but group names in the main report and then export, to get the same result. If this is something you intend to do regularly, you could set up a parameter that conditionally suppresses the sections used in the usual display.
