exporting group policy settings

I have been tryingto export the user and configuration settings to a text file. When I try to export I only get the heading names not what the value of the setting e.g for User configuration I just get windows components not the individual componenets within that e.g internet explorer etc.


Any ideas...is there some sort of command line which I would run to do this..otherwise it looks like amanual method
