Exporting from XP to 97

Hi.

I have not used tek-tips very often in the past, so if someone could either explain to me how to export an MS Access XP file to a 97 format or direct me to such previous postings, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi,

To covert an access 2002 database to 97 format:

1. Open database in access 2002 (XP).
2. Go to tools -> database utilities -> Convert Database -> Access 97. Save the database elsewhere (ie keep the 2002 format one in a safe place in case it uses features not present in 97, so won't work properly).

Thank you for your help and I'll try it. My Windows and Office are in Japanese so everything isn't always obvious to me.
