I trying to export five paradox tables to Excel using a form button.

The idea is automating the exporting process as this is done every week.

I need the code for the Pushbutton on the form and some general form building advice to how to create this form.

Your help is appreciated.

RAKSTER

Use the "exportspreadsheet" command.

example: exportspreadsheet(":aliasname:tablename.db","c:\\temp\\myfile.xls",true)

This will export the table ("tablename") to an excell table ("myfile") in the c:\temp directory.

This tip can also be found in the on-line help, it also exports nicely into Quattro Pro V9.

One think I noticed in both Quattro Pro and Excel, is that columns with DATES, display as a number. Reformatting the columns to display as a Date, cured that with no problems.
