Exporting Embeded Projects with Main Project

I am using Project 2000 and I use a main project to manage a number of embeded projects. I want to export all tasks, including the embeded to MS Access. When I <SAVE AS> an Access database it only exports tasks in the main project and no tasks from embeded projects. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? I am hoping for the later.
