I have a VB6 app with many reports developed with the RDC from CR Developer V8.5. Most of the reports in the application are formatted dynamically in the Format event for the different report sections (e.g., detail, header, etc.). All the reports work fine, but we would like to allow the users to export the reports to Word (many of the reports are actually form letters). I found one reference in the CR KB that said the format events only fire when the reports are directed to the screen or a printer, not when exported. There was no explanation in the article or a suggested work around. Has anyone run across this limitation and found a way around it?
