How do you export an AutoCAD(2000) drawing into Coreldraw(10)? I have tried using all the export types but they either come out as really horrible bitmap images (bmp or wmf) or come out in my assigned colours (for line weights) or don't show up at all. I need to see the lineweight in black on a white page. My last resort is printing the drawings and scanning them.

CorelDRAW 8 can open 2D .dwg's and .dxf's. I can't open 3D drawings for whatever reason. Maybe CorelDRAW 10 can do it better.

If Copy/Paste Special doesn't work, try exporting to a R12 DXF - most drawing software can open/import these without a problem. Note, this is not the default DXF export type - you need to DXFOUT, then select R12 DXF from the drop-down box. Hope it works, Gary.
