I hated the fact that Avaya will let you run a dormant mailbox report but not export it. I had a lot of dormant mailboxes and needed the data in excel. Here is how I did it.
1. Open the web interface of your MSS in firefox 3.5. Don't use IE.
2. Run system evaluation.
3. Create new folder on your laptop called D:\Data\MM Export
4. Click file save page as D:\Data\MM Export\logged_in.htm
5. Explore to D:\Data\MM Export\Logged in_files\Welcome.htm
6. Open Welcome.htm in IE.
7. Click view, source.
8. This should open in a txt file. Find "dormant mailboxes" and "file System Usage" cut everything in between these 2 names and save in new txt file called dormant mailboxes.txt.
9. Open excel. Open file dormant mailboxes.txt.
10. There is all your data. You'll need to play with the format alot. But that is at least a start.
If anyone has a better way, I'd love to know.
