How do I export all mySQL data to .txt files?

i have written a special php scripts that generate a txt file using a structure i need, but that's for a special purpose
you could use the mysqldump utility (

or if you are using phpMyAdmin there's a possibility tu dump you databases

you can just use mysqldump:

>>mysqldump -u user -p databaseName > fileName.txt

The extension of your file can be whatever (.sql or anything you can think of......)
