Exporting Data to new Excel worksheet in DTS

Hello,

Each month I have a query to generate monthly data. I want to be able to export in to a new sheet each month i.e Sept - 2004 for month of Sept. I want to do this via DTS so there is no manual process. I can creat the new sheet in the workbook but how do I get the data to copy on this newly created sheet. I dont want to do this via activex as it times out. Is there another way or any idea's.

You should be able to use a Dynamic Properties task to modify the Destination property of the data pump to point to the newly created sheet.

Or, if you are using an ActiveX script to create the new sheet, you should be able to set the data pump property from within the script.
