Hi there,

I know how to export my data (either from table, query, or report) to an xls file using the transferText macro.

However, I require to do this so that when i view the xls, it is in a predefined style - how can i achieve this?

many thanks,
Neil

Access97 - you can use transferXLS to set the column headers, file name and tab name - you may need to drop the data into a temporary table first.

To get more control, you may have to use automation to link to the Excel VBA system and start changing stuff from there.
