Exporting data into an Excel spreadsheet

I am trying to create a command button where once a user clicks the button, they input beginning and end dates and click ok and then a select statement will pull the data. How do I export that directly into an Excel spreadsheet?

Try the DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet function.

e.g.

DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet acExport, acSpreadsheetTypeExcel9, "yourqueryname", pathname, etc.[code]
