exporting data from menulink

I need to export data from menulink in a cvs format. well it would be nice if it was csv.. I have to get a distinct list of my inventory of merchandise, I will then merge it with the data from my hand held inventory device for reporting purposes. Could someone direct me on how to export data from menulink. It would also be helpful to find out what my predecessor downloaded./exported so I’m also looking for any trail he may have left.
