Hi

Using Sniffer Basic 4.5.

Is there a way to export capture data in .csv or ASCII format?

When I click on save as all I can see are *.cap *.caz *.enc, *.trc, *.fdc

My main aim is to to able to let another user see the content in the "Packet Display Window" without using Sniffer.

*Please note that I'm not refering to history samples which can be exported to .csv easily.*

Thanks

Print it to a file.. then you can import into whatever you wish. If I remember right there are two options when to print as far as format goes.. one is summary and the other is detailed.. I'm running from memory here without my coffee yet so it's a bit fuzzy in my head ;-)

if you go to my site and check out the 'How to" or "presentation" section you will find notes on how to export and graph throughput.

Let me know if that helps..
