I frequently convert MSACCESS tables (ACCESS 2000) to ASCII
delimited text and am almost always successful.
However, I have imported a VIEW from an MSSQL envinroment to ACCESS and am attempting to to convert that table to ASCII delimited and I keep getting the message "Illegal parameter". I have reduced the table to one line and 4 fields and still get the same message.
If I click the "Save as Formatted" button on the save screen, I do not get the error and the data gets transferred in that format, but filled, of course, with huge empty spaces.
Does anyone have an idea of what is going on here? Thanks
in advance.
