Hello, (Access 2002), I want to export an Access report specifically as a .csv file. The Analyze with Excel exports as .xls, and if I choose File-Export and select the (.txt,.csv,etc.) option it does not export nicely at all.

Also, I would like the .csv file to use the text box headings I have set up in the Report Header or what I key into the field name "Name" box in the Properties of each field. This is for importing information into a payroll system, and it requires duplicate column heading names, and I can't of course have duplicate column names in the query. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I would use the Analyze with Excel option to create the spreadsheet, then Export the spreadsheet to a .csv file. It's not a clean, one-step method, but it should work....

Hoc nomen meum verum non est.
