I currently work in manufacturing and we send a lot of DXF's to CNC machinery from Corel 11. The software used by the CNC machinery is AutoCAD and Alpha CAM. When the DXF's are opened in either program they come in as a Spline not a line and have to be converted to a line which causes curved portions of the file to become straight. I see this a problem from Corel since I can create certain files directly from AutoCAD and they are fine, but for some reason from corel something is lost. I have tried every version of AutoCAD when I export from Corel the only one that will come close to working is version 11, but that version multiplies the node count extremely. Any help appreciated.

mike, I have the same situation, did you ever get a solid answer to your question? It would be of great use to me.
thanks in advance.
