Exporting a crystal report in Microsoft Excel

Hi

I am using Crystal Reports v 8.5
When I export my report to .xls then the report is formatted in it's own way which is not very useful if I want to use excel options.

Is there a way, I can specify no formatting or something else, so that no addtional spaces are added and columns for a value are not merged.

Exporting is not an exact science, but how you design the report is key.

When creating reports to export to Excel test as you go.

Also make sure that you apply the service packs:
