I am using a software package that is using the runtime version of Crystal, vXI I think. When I run a report and print preview it, it looks fine. When I print it, it prints fine. When I use Adobe Acrobat to .pdf it, it again looks fine.

HOWEVER, when I export it from Crystal, the fonts on the report tend to shrink a few points but word spacing does not so it tends to look odd.

Has anyone seen this and potentially come up w/ a solution? The software company says it is a Crystal issue, not them.

Hi,
export it to what,where?

In some versions of Crystal there was an issue with point size but one of the patches or hotfixes should have corrected it...Does the software company advise you on needed updates/fixes for 'their' version of CR?

When the report is in preview, You can export to file. I am doing that to the .pdf option within the report export dialog box.

Do you know (other than asking the software mfr) how I could with the runtime find out the exact version?
