i am using crystal 8.5

i have created a report - like a Purchase Order.....

and when i tried to export this in word... Its not coming in the proper way....the indentment and the space and the table .... all are just mess...

Should i use anything special to export this in word in a proper way????

Do you have the latest patches and dlls? In 2003, there was a change in Crystal 8.5 exporting that improved it a great deal. If your export-choice says things like Excel Extended rather than MS Excel 97, then an update should fix it. I assume 'BO' still have them for Crystal 8.5 customers.

You could also try exporting to Acrobat / PDF.

i tried it in crystal 8.5 too..
and i want it in Word not in excel....
and it should be editable... so pdf will not work....

Please give me some advice...

When you pull the exported product in Word, be sure you have your View menu option set to Print Layout. Otherwise, all your fields get "scrunched up" to the left.

hey... i tried it
now i have crystal 9.0

when i am tring to export in word.. its creating the file with different text blocks and its not like the normal word document

please help me...
