Export to XML format

I have a tble in SQL and I would like to export that table as XML format for someone else to use. Can't seem to get answers that I could understand. Could someone please help?

If you just want a dump of a table to XML format then this might be of some help:
Select * from <tablename> for XML Auto

Give it a try, if it's not what you want repost.
