I have an Access report that users will run & e-mail to their clients. I want to setup the report so that when users open it, it automatically appears in Microsoft Word. This will allow them to easily save it and/or e-mail it.

However, I don't know if this is possible. I've searched for VBA examples to do this but have found nothing useful. Is this possible?

Appreciate any help. Thanks!

look up OutputTo. if you make the AutoStart parameter = True then Word will launch after the file is saved.

or: you can put a button on your main form, use the wizard to specify Report Options - Save Report To File.

or: make the command buttons for SaveAs and Export (standard on the shortcut/print preview menus) then the users can save it if they want to, name it what they want and store it where they want.

hope this helps.
