Can i export a view to PDF? I'm using 2007 and when i save to 2003 for someone else to vie wof course the features dont show up so if i can just export the view without them being able to make changes, id be golden. Ideas? Thoughts?

The only way to export to a PDF is to install a PDF printer driver.

Once you've done that you simply print to the PDF printer the same way you would print to any other printer and then you distribute the pdf file.

PDQBach,

I was wondering the same thing. I have Adobe Acrobat so I can generate .pdf files. How do you install a PDF driver for MP? In other Microsoft programs, there is a PDF toolbar but not in MP.

Thank you.

I'm not sure what's installed on the test machine but one of the printers is a PDF printer. I just printed to that and it generated a file (can't remember if it was in the same folder as the project file, or in My Documents).

Hi,
Also, if you want to past your PDF view of the schedule into something like Powerpoint, you need to do a save as in Adobe to a .png file. This will turn the PDF into an image file and can then be manipulated to look good on presentations. The "copy picture" ability is Project looks awful when you try to use it for presentations.
