I have a report which conains a field in the db table. This specific field contains the path to a document on our file server (P:\Public\Document\UniqueDoc1.doc, P:\Public\Document\Unique2.doc, P:\Public\Document\Unique3.doc etc)

I inserted a hyperlink on the field.

When i export to RPT or HTML, the field hyperlink works as expected. However, when i export to PDF, the hyperlink nolonger works.

What is the solution for this???

That's a known limitation.

To solve this, at least one of the 3rd-party Crystal Reports Desktop Scheduling tools listed at: provides functionality that allows you to automate the process of exporting a report to pdf and adding live hyperlinks.

hth,
- Ido

view, export, burst, email, and schedule Crystal Reports.

Indeed you are correct. Thanks for your suggestion.
In case anyone else is interested i found a work around.

Export the Report as a RTF. Then, using Adobe Professional, convert the RTF to PDF. Now your hyperlinnks will all be active.
