Export to Excel

Hi,

I was trying export the data to excel from the BO. Whenever I do that, in excel it shows fews thousands of rows of blank rows before it didplays the next block. There is a lot Blank space between the blocks. In BO report there is no space between blocks but it shows space in excel. The user needs data in excel. Is there any setting which i need to do to avoid this space ? Any work around to get proper data displey in excel?

Veni,

This sounds like one of the many problems with early versions of Business Objects 6, what version are you on??? I'm on 6.1a and am still exporting as a text file and renaming the file extension with ".xls" as the save as excel is so unrealiable...
