Using Crystal 11.5, am creating a report that is to be run automatically thru my ERP package and sent via e-mail as an Excel attachment to a group of users. Getting it in a good Excel format is not a problem, however my request is to include the column filter so they can use the Excel filter on the column headers once they receive the file into Excel. I know how to give them the file in good clean excel format, but is there any way to provide the file with the column filters? It is a new file that is recreated and e-mailed to them every night. Just wondering if anyone had done something like this before...

This should be a feature provided by your EPR package. Crystal cannot do it. There are tools, which can schedule reports and export them to excel with filter, formulas etc.

Viewer and Scheduler for Crystal reports and SSRS.

At least one of the 3rd-party Crystal Reports Desktop Schedulers listed at .com/bookmarks.html does indeed provide this functionality.
It can automate the process of exporting the report to excel, adding the filter header, and emailing the resulting Workbook.
