Hi all,

I am using crystal XI professional edition. I have my information in the detail section. Everything works well in crystal. Nevertheless, when I exported it to Microsoft Excel (97-2000), the excel file results in skipping the even numbers and show the information in the odd number rows. If I exported it to Microsoft Excel data only, it works fine.

Is there a setting I am missing? Thanks in advance.

Are you sure the even rows aren't just hidden in Excel? What happens if you select all rows->format->row height to 14?

LBass, you are correct, they are hidden. However, if my information is in the detail section and there's absolutely no formatting applied, I am not sure why it is hidden by default automatically. Is there a setting somewhere?

I think you need to align your fields more carefully in CR. First select all detail records and right click->format->make same size->height. The attach all fields to guidelines at both top and bottom and check to make sure that when you move the guidelines up and down that all fields move with them. It's a good idea to attach fields to left-right guidelines as well. Then minimize the height of the detail section, by moving the guidelines so that the fields are flush with the boundaries of the section. Then try exporting again.
