Export to Excel Question

How would I clear an excel worksheet each time the DTS package runs so that I am not appending data each time.

select overwrite option in DTS it would do it.

you cant actually overwrite the data without dropping the worksheet totally. have a read of this thread thread961-565840

Thanks. I was using the DTS Designer program and could never find where to drop and recreate the worksheet. I had to default and use the DTS wizard, which give this option, and then open the package in DTS Designer to finish the package.

If you are in designer alone, where is the "drop and recreate" option located?
