Export to Excel - Merged Cells Identically Sized

Hi :

I have a notes field on my crystal report and have it set to "can grow". When I export to Excel, everything looks fine; however, when I try to sort the data, I get an error (this operation requires the merged cells to be identically sized).

One of the major benefits of using Excel is to be able to sort the data... is there any solution?

You could use a parameter in the "can grow" formula area where you allow the field to grow if for viewing, but don't, if the plan is to export. Set it up like this:

if {?Export} = "Yes" then false else true
