Hi,
I am using Crystal 10 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
When exporting a report to Excel, for each page break seen in preview mode, I am getting a single blank row in the exported file. I have suppressed all page headers and footers, but don't see where the extra row is coming from. If I export it as "data only" those rows do not appear. Unfortunately, for other formatting reasons, I can't use the data only export option.
The rest of the info in the report is basically just a repeated details section with 5 data fields from a single db table going across--sort of a flat file format for import into a very picky database that will barf back files with extra blank rows.
I know that Crystal and Excel don't play well together, so I am assuming that this is an unavoidable problem, but thought I'd throw it out there, just in case.
Thank you in advance for any insight... jc
