I have a Crystal Report (8.5) which has a numeric field that correctly displays numbers with out commas ex. 4789291. When I try to export the report to Excel using Excel 8.0 (XLS) or Excel 8.0 (XLS) Extended this numeric field appears in Excel with commas ex. 4,789,291. Why is this happening? How can I stop this from happening? I want it to appear as it does in the Crystal Report with out commas.I appreciate any suggestions.
