Hello:
I am using CR10, windows XP, connected via ODBC to a SQL server.
I have a report that runs fine. The main report runs and returns around 10,000 groups of data. A quick subreport then runs for each of the groups returned. I have the detail sections hidden so a person can drill down if necessary.
When I export the results to a PDF the report looks fine.
The downside of PDF's is you cannot sort the data. When I try export to excel data only, tab delimited, or CSV only the report header and field headings from the page header are exported. None of the records get exported unless I move the subreport to a suppressed section. For some reason the subreport short circuits the whole record.
Any thoughts, other than back to the drawing board to redesign and rebuild the report with a command or use MS access and crystal?
