Hello

I am using Crystal 8.5 accessing an SQL database on a Windows XP computer.

I asked this question earlier but no one responded. I realize that Crystal allows me to export to tab delimited text but it isn't recognized as .txt file so the program I'm uploading to won't accept it. Currently I have to export to .ttx then upload to WordPad and save as .txt file. How can I do this directly from Crystal? Would I add a Chr(9) at the end of each field and then export as text?

Please advise - thanks.

Shelby

Hi Shelby,

What happens when you export directly to .txt? Does the width of your data excede one page?
