I have set up a DTS to export 5 or 6 tables from SQL Server to MS Access. The largest is about 125,000 records. The sequence is, delete from the MS Access table, then copy the table from SQL to Access. No trsnformations, just straight copying. Each time I test this DTS, at least one step fails with this error:
Error: -2147467259 (80004005); Provider Error: -533791822 (E02EFBB2)
Error string: Could not update; currently locked by user 'mis' on machine 'MILLENIUM'.
Error source: Microsoft JET Database Engine
Help file:
Help context: 5003218
User 'mis' would be me. machine Millenium would be the server that SQL Server is on. I don't have anything open or anything running, though, it must be something previous in the DTS which is making it think it's locked. I can't figure out why this keeps happening, or what I can do to work around it. Any help greatly appreciated!
