Using MS Access 2003, I am using Export to send data from four tables to an XML file. The four tables are joined on a common key. Is it possible to exclude a field from the XML file? I need the field used in the join to appear in the XML output in only one of the four tables. The XML for the three tables associated with the main table should not include this common element in the XML. I am told that you can do it somehow using a query. Thanks for any help that you can give me.

You should be able to create a query that has the info you need and export that. In the Query Design grid, add all four tables, select the fields from each table that you need and save the query.

Thanks for the information, lespaul! The only thing is that the XML File should have four tables and organized so:

Customer
Broker
Locations
Coverages

I imported an XML File into Access that has certain fields and structure. Only one of the four resulting tables have the Key Field. The others did not have the Key Field included. I want to save my data in the exact structure as the XML File that I imported. I hope I am clear as to what I need to do. Thanks!
