Export tables to excel

Hi I've got some code that exports a load of tables to an excel spreadsheet, each table goes intoa ifferent workshet in the .xls. Anyway everything works fine until one certain table is reached. Access reckons the table is being used by another user but I'm 100% sure it isn't. It is am linked table but I have tried using code to import the table into the current db under a differrent name, then exporting it to the .xls but again I get the same error msg. Any idea's???

If you build the code to just export the one table do you still get the error? You might try building a query based on the problematic table and export the query instead.

Hey CautionMP cheers for the response. Yeah I've tried building a query and exporting the results of that but it doesn't work either, I get the same error msg......
