does anyone know if the full information captured can be exported to a text, excel file, or anything readable to someone other than the person that has the sniffer program?

i see an export option but it only seems to be for the summary, not the full detail.

Bring up a tracefile. Go under File/Print. Select frames to print. Select "Print to File" and filename. You can print Summary, Detail and Hex. You can also optionally save in CSV format.

Thanks! We had a laptop with just the sniffer software setup... no printer. So, I never checked the option. Thanks!

I found the Print to File feature doesn't work consistantly in 4.5 and creates an additional line in 4.7.

I use Ethereal to generate my text files.
