HI,

I am using MS Office 2000, I have designed a small application using access 2000. Which has a report grouped on some field with group header and group footer has group totals for numaric fields. When I export this reoprt to Excel 2000 I will not able to see any group total as well as report totals. If any of you have any Idea how to do thanks in advance.

Regards

A general soloution for this is to create an Excel Worksheet/workbook with named ranges for the various data elements. In your Ms. Access App, export the various elements to the corresponding named range of the Excel object. This approach works nicely as a way to 'export' graphs from Ms. Access, as the excel workbook can include the graph pre-set using the named ranges.

There is never time to do it right but there is always time to do it over

Are you exporting your file or are you creating a report/query and analyzing it with Excel.

I know if you have an Access report that has totals and you analyze it through Excel, it won't bring over the totals.
