is there a way to export a report to Word, and keep the formatting. I have text boxes which have BOLD borders, but these r lost once in Word. Hope this is ok. If not, just let me know.
In a word, no. Any exporting to any thing other than a PDF type file (Adobe Acrobat) or a "snapshot viewer" loses formatting (Word, RTF, HTML, etc.) It seems stupid, but a 'rectangle' in Access is a different beast than a 'rectangle' in Word. Has to do with graphic primitives, I think.
You'd think that Bill 'n' The Boys would fix this so people wouldn't have to buy Acrobat.....

It is worth noting however that the Snapshot Viewer mentioned by WildHare does maintain report formatting (lines, boxes, etc.). It is available as a free download from Microsoft if you don't have it. Go to
Exactly - sorry, I should have expanded on that option in my post. Make sure you get the most recent version of the viewer, as well. I had some problems with it blowing up on NT 4.0
