Export Outlook 2000 Calendar to Palm DBA file

Does anyone know a simple method to export a Calendar file from MS Outlook 2000 into a format that can be imported into Palm Desktop 4.

I have tried the trial version of Dimex, but the re-formatting of the data seems very laborious for what should be a simple task. I might as well re-enter all the entries myself!

BTW is there any reason why Palm Desktop doesn't support import of appointments from any other file type?
