Hi
I am new to this forum. Looks like this is notes forum. I have to capture one colummon from view , is there way to capture and export in text format ? I am notes user not developer.

In my old version of Notes (6.5) you just open the view and then from the File menu choose Export.
In 6.5 you can choose .csv (for spreadsheet) or Structured Text or Tabular Text. You should be able to manipulate any of these formats to get the text you want.

Hi
nonguru
I have tons of collumon in a view, is there way to grab just one colummon ?

You could export it to Comma Separated Values file and then just pull the column that you want out of Excel (or other spreadsheet program).

OR

If the view allows it, you can customise some views.
From the View menu choose "Customise this View".
(at least that's where it is in Notes 6.5)

This allows you to show / hide columns.
Then hide all except the column you want and then do an export to text file.

If you have a mail file, you should see the customise option in the Inbox view to give you an idea what you're looking for.
