Export message onto a thumb drive

Hello all, a customer of mine received a death threat that was left as a voicemail message. The customer would like for me to extract or somehow export the message onto a thumb drive. This is a Partner Mail VS r5. I was thinking of some way to get an audio file on my laptop. Thanks.

Since VS R5 does not have the unified messaging feature you could play the message through the phone's speaker and record it onto a digital recorder.

Thanks Brian, I'll let the customer know that is the only option for their type of voicemail.

You can also buy a digital recorder that plugs between the handset and the phone. It then grabs all conversation on that handset so you could then call voicemail while recording.
