Export Lotus Notes Calendar

I work in a company, all of who's clients use microsoft but insists on using Lotus Notes. I need to be able to export the calendar into a text file (at least). When I attempt this Lotus can produce three useless formats. Appointments without dates or dates without times etc etc etc. How can I export the details (subject and body text) with the date and times they apply to? Surely this is possible?!?!?! Anyone who can help will be honoured as a hero and workshiped for all eternity.

I would suggest exporting to Lotus 1-2-3 format, which you can open in Excel.
Did you try that ?

Otherwise, there are obviously a few other solutions, but that would mostly involve coding. Can you do that ?
