Is there an obviously simple way to export the postfix LDAP database of user names, email addresses and passwords (encrypted or plain, does not matter but just as they are stored) to a simple XML or CSV file?

After studying probably too much information I think I am becoming blinkered to a solution!

The Postfix/Exchange integration howto at is probably a good starting point for what you want to do, as its using Net::LDAP to pull email addresses out of Active Directory.

I'm unsure if AD will cough up passwords (encrypted or otherwise) but I'm willing to bet not--I couldn't browse the userPassword field with ADSI edit (sorry, AD is the only LDAP directory I have deployed. :)
