Export/Import of Active Directory

I have a problem. I can export AD from production server with attributes that dont make problem for importing but when i try to import it the following message appears:

Add error on line 1: No Such Object
The server side error is "Directory object not found."

Any idea. The name of domains is identical on production and test server and OU heirarchy is also the same.

Do you have anything installed in the production environment that is not installed in the test environment, like Exchange?

No I dont have anything installed. They are both domain controllers and nothing else.

Not necessarily installed on the domain controller itself. Exchange and other products modify Active Directory and add objects. If you have Exchange or some other product that modified the production Active Directory, and you don't have that same product installed in your test environment, you could have issues.

This is just one possible direction to look. We may need more information to help track it down. If you look at line 1, what is on that line?
