Export From Crystal Reports

I am having several problems with the export button in crystal reports. On one machine the export button works fine, on another when the export button is clicked nothing happens, and on a third the export appears to work fine however a blank file of the type specified is created is created instead of one containing the report.

All three machines have the same .dll files and these are all registered correctly.

Has anyone got any ideas?
 
At minimum, state the software being used and it's version.

Are these all installs of Crystal Reports, or a viewer, or Crystal Enterprise (that's the forum you posted in), or

Apologies for posting in the wrong forum im new to this site and wasnt quite sure where to put it.

All installations are version 8.0.1.0 of the viewer according to the about screen in the application
 
Sometimes this is down to the level of rights that a user has on that machine. If an export function hasn't been used before eg you have never exported to Excel before Crystal has to install this on the machine which will require higher level of rights than a normal user.

Both users have been setup with the same access but the problem persists.

Any help is greatly appreciated, really having trouble with this.

It may be worth signing on to the problem machine with the userid that works on the other and see if that works. If it does then there is an anomaly in the user profile which could be resolved by a refresh. If it doesn't work then you know it is the machine and thus a re-install of Crystal Reports may be the simplest solution.
