I'm having a problem exporting a file from Access to Excel. When I export data from Access to Excel 97 a ' added in the formula bar for each record. There are currently 27,000 rows of data so it is not practical to enter each cell and delete the '.
The ' is not displayed in the cell but only in the formula bar.

Can anyone help please?

If the ' is the first character in the cell this designates the data as text and is normal for an export from access.

You can select the colum in excel and do text to columns and the ' will go
