Aside from printing to a file, is there a option in excel2000 where I can export my sheet to a text file?

thanks for your help

I'm not sure if this is the right way - but I just save it as a .csv file vs an excel file.

To elaborate on cjjn's post, yes, you can. You can save an Excel file as a different file format. Three common ways of saving an Excel Worksheet as a text file are:

>>CSV (comma-separated values)
>>Space-delimited (each cell is separated by a space)
>>Tab-delimited (each cell is separated by a tab character)

In all three of these instances, each row is printed on its own line.
